Emily Eerdmans
Emily Evans Eerdmans is a design historian and founder of Eerdmans, a fine and decorative arts gallery and consultancy in New York City. She is the author of several books including the newly published Mario Buatta: Anatomy of a Decorator as well as monographs on Madeleine Castaing and Henri Samuel. A close friend of Buatta, Eerdmans oversaw the dispersal of his estate, including the blockbuster auction at Sotheby’s. Eerdmans has a Master’s degree in Fine and Decorative Arts from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London, and has taught design history at the Fashion Institute of Technology and the New York School of Interior Design.
Marisa Marcantonio
Design and interiors expert, Marisa Marcantonio, is a trusted voice in the world of interior design who has had a wide-ranging career in the design industry. Following her years as style editor at House and Garden, House Beautiful, and Oprah’s Home Magazine, Marisa started her trailblazing design blog, Stylebeat, in 2006, covering the best in interiors and design. Known as the ultimate connector in the design world, her access, insights, industry expertise, and unerring design eye have made her the go-to resource and design authority. After several years at Chairish where she established the brand, she is now a creative strategist transforming luxury home brands and advising interior designers on brand development, marketing, e-commerce, content, creative direction, and product partnerships. She has the unique ability to identify what is in the air and has been at the forefront of what is happening in the design world, bringing a comprehensive knowledge of resources, design movements, and styles. After spending 20-plus years in New York City, she recently moved to Palm Beach. Marisa is on the board of "Rooms With a View" in Southport, Connecticut, and serves on the committee for The Kips Bay Decorator Showhouse in Palm Beach.
