Jerry A. Tishman Scholarship
The Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach invites architecture students to apply for the Jerry A. Tishman Scholarship, a generous award supporting students with a passion for historic preservation. Established through a bequest from Jerry A. Tishman, a dedicated Preservation Foundation member and preservation advocate, this scholarship provides funding for tuition and educational expenses.
What to Expect:
- A $15,000 scholarship award, made directly to the recipient’s school of choice.
- Funding to support annual tuition and/or summer study programs.
- Recognition of students who demonstrate academic excellence and a commitment to historic preservation.
Who Should Apply?
This opportunity is open to:
- Graduate students enrolled in a School of Architecture.
- Undergraduate students entering their fourth or fifth year in a combined bachelor’s/master’s architecture program.
- Applicants must be in good academic standing and demonstrate an interest in preservation.
How to Apply:
Interested students must submit the following by May 31st:
- A resume detailing their academic and professional experience.
- A statement of interest explaining their passion for architecture and historic preservation, no more than 500 words.
- Academic transcripts demonstrating good standing.
