Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Preservation Foundation proudly supports students in their academic pursuits.

Jerry A. Tishman Scholarship

The Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach invites architecture students to apply for the Jerry A. Tishman Scholarship, a generous award supporting students with a passion for historic preservation. Established through a bequest from Jerry A. Tishman, a dedicated Preservation Foundation member and preservation advocate, this scholarship provides funding for tuition and educational expenses.

What to Expect:
  • A $15,000 scholarship award, made directly to the recipient’s school of choice.
  • Funding to support annual tuition and/or summer study programs.
  • Recognition of students who demonstrate academic excellence and a commitment to historic preservation.
Who Should Apply?

This opportunity is open to:

  • Graduate students enrolled in a School of Architecture.
  • Undergraduate students entering their fourth or fifth year in a combined bachelor’s/master’s architecture program.
  • Applicants must be in good academic standing and demonstrate an interest in preservation.
How to Apply:

Interested students must submit the following by May 31st:

  • A resume detailing their academic and professional experience.
  • A statement of interest explaining their passion for architecture and historic preservation, no more than 500 words.
  • Academic transcripts demonstrating good standing.
