Sallie B. Phillips Archival Internship

This internship honors longtime Trustee Sallie B. Phillips, who graciously underwrote the digitization of the Foundation’s John Volk Architectural collection.

The Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach invites students to apply for the Sallie B. Phillips Archival Internship, an opportunity to gain firsthand experience working with special collections and digital archives.

This six-week, project-based program is designed for students interested in archival work, historic preservation, and digital collections management. Interns will work with the Foundation’s extensive digital archives, which include architectural drawings, photographs, and ephemera from prominent Palm Beach architects.

What to Expect:
  • A stipend is provided to support interns during the program.
  • Interns will gain hands-on experience in digital archiving, metadata creation, and special collections management.
  • Opportunities to engage with preservation professionals and contribute to the accessibility of the Foundation’s collections.
